These Terms govern your use of the myVigil managed personal-assistant service ("myVigil", "we", "us"). The myVigil operator for your service is identified in your written proposal or service agreement. By accepting a proposal, paying an invoice, or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
myVigil is a managed personal AI assistant. We set up, operate, maintain, and support a private assistant instance through agreed channels and integrations. Telegram is the recommended customer channel. You may request WhatsApp or another channel; before onboarding, we explain its reliability, privacy, account, feature, and platform tradeoffs, and the requested channel must pass technical, privacy, reliability, and platform-eligibility review. myVigil is a convenience and productivity tool, not a provider of medical, legal, financial, tax, or other professional advice.
myVigil does not offer public self-service signup or checkout. A service begins only after a request, our written proposal or agreement, and any required capacity, identity, privacy, and onboarding review. You must be an adult able to enter a binding contract. You are responsible for the accounts and services you choose to connect and for activity under your subscription.
Dedicated / Private Brain and Dedicated VM / Cloud plans are for one adult's normal personal use. The standard Family Brain offer covers exactly two consenting adults and up to three contracted, paid additional consenting adults, for a maximum of five people. Larger families and any different use require a separately reviewed proposal.
Any displayed price is a request-only planning starting point, not a binding quote or general-availability price. Your proposal states the agreed service, capacity, price, and boundaries. Capacity can include AI model usage, voice, messaging, memory, connected-service calls, and infrastructure; Family capacity applies across the contracted members.
We manage the underlying AI and connected-service providers. You do not receive separate API invoices, and we do not add automatic overage charges. If sustained use exceeds the agreed capacity, we may notify you, use an economy mode for high-cost features, pause premium features until the next monthly reset, or offer a written upgrade or capacity change. We will not charge for additional usage without your explicit approval. The Fair Use Policy is part of these Terms.
Service is billed monthly in advance and remains month-to-month during the request-only measurement period. Your written proposal may tailor service scope, capacity, and price, but it cannot create an annual or prepaid commitment under this policy. An annual or prepaid arrangement requires a separately versioned future policy that you accept before it applies. You may request cancellation at any time; it takes effect at the end of the paid monthly period. Fees already paid for that period are non-refundable except where applicable law requires a refund. We will give notice before a renewal price changes, and any tax, currency, or payment-processor terms in your proposal also apply.
You must not use myVigil unlawfully or abusively. This includes uncontracted shared accounts, resale or sublicensing, bulk or third-party processing, continuous unattended workloads, and abusive or recursive automation. We may rate-limit, suspend, or terminate service to protect the service, its providers, or other customers.
myVigil depends on third-party providers, including AI model providers, messaging platforms, cloud infrastructure, databases, voice and transcription services, mapping or traffic services, and document processing services. Their availability, terms, prices, and capabilities can change. We aim to operate the service continuously, but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service and do not offer a public minimum-resource, latency, or availability SLA during measurement.
myVigil does not provide medical, legal, financial, tax, or other professional advice. Health, finance, and similar features organize or surface information for convenience; they are not a substitute for a licensed professional. Do not rely on myVigil for decisions requiring professional judgment or for emergencies. Contact the appropriate emergency service or qualified professional instead.
You retain your rights in content you provide, subject to the rights needed to operate, secure, maintain, and support the service. Our handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy. We use reasonable operational safeguards, but no service can guarantee absolute security. The service may process data through channels and providers you select, each with its own limits and terms.
Either party may end the service as described in these Terms or the written proposal. We may suspend or end service for material breach, non-payment, security risk, unlawful use, or provider requirements. After cancellation, we keep your instance in a frozen state for 90 days so you can request export or reactivation, then delete it and its service data as described in the Privacy Policy, subject to legal, billing, and backup-retention requirements.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, myVigil is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not warrant that generated content is accurate, complete, suitable for a particular purpose, or free of errors. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law. Any additional liability terms must be set out in the written proposal or service agreement.
We may update these Terms when the service or law changes. Each published version has its own immutable version code, so a request-only proposal can record the exact Terms, Privacy, and Fair Use text accepted. For a material change, we will give reasonable notice by email or through the agreed customer channel before it takes effect. Questions or legal notices may be sent to hello@myvigil.ai.
