Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 8, 2026 · Last updated: August 8, 2026 · Policy version: privacy-2026-08-08-v1

This policy explains how myVigil processes personal information for the managed personal-assistant service. myVigil, the operator of myvigil.ai, is the controller for website lead information submitted before a proposal and is responsible for your service after onboarding. For privacy questions or requests, contact hello@myvigil.ai.

1. Service boundaries

Every unrelated customer organization receives a separate Brain cell and AI gateway. Dedicated / Private Brain shares hardened host capacity and tenant-safe platform services, not a gateway process. Family Brain is one trusted Brain, gateway, administrative, and backup boundary for exactly two consenting adults and up to three contracted additional adults; member-specific agents, workspaces, credentials, and sandboxes are not hard isolation between Family members. Dedicated VM / Cloud adds a separate customer VM and disk. A fully separate cloud environment or dedicated AI resources apply only when the written proposal includes them. Capabilities and integrations are add-ons, not an isolation tier.

2. Information we process

3. How we use information

We process information to provide, operate, secure, maintain, meter, troubleshoot, and support your assistant; communicate with you; enforce these Terms; and comply with law. We process your content to perform the service you request. Routine setup and operation do not require us to read your day-to-day private content. If troubleshooting requires access, we discuss it with you first where practical and limit access to what is necessary; urgent security, safety, legal, or service-continuity work may require narrower access without prior discussion.

4. Automated masking and its limits

Dynamic masking is active and verified for supported identifiers in text sent through the managed customer model path. The initial policy covers person names, email addresses, phone numbers, credit-card numbers, US SSNs and ITINs, passports, driver-license numbers, bank numbers, IBANs, medical-license numbers, and IP addresses, and it fails closed if the masking service is unavailable. Automated detection can miss or misclassify sensitive information. This text control does not by itself cover original documents sent to OCR, voice sent to transcription, images, messaging platforms, direct-subscription model paths, other connected services, all logs, or all provider retention. It reduces disclosure; it does not create a zero-knowledge service or replace access control, encryption, retention, deletion, provider contracts, or incident response.

5. Providers, channels, and disclosures

We use service providers to run myVigil, including AI model providers, messaging platforms, cloud infrastructure and databases, transcription and voice services, mapping or traffic services, and document-processing services. Before a proposal, website lead-form fields (name, contact details, and message) are forwarded through Telegram to myVigil's operational intake so we can respond; do not submit sensitive information in that form. When you use Telegram or another messaging channel, that platform processes the messages under its own terms and privacy practices. We may disclose information to providers as needed to deliver the service, when required by law, or to protect rights, safety, and the service. Provider availability, locations, retention, and data-use terms can vary by selected integration and may change.

6. Retention, export, and deletion

We keep service data while your subscription is active. After cancellation, we freeze your instance for 90 days so you can request export or reactivation, then delete the instance and its service data. We may retain limited records longer where required for law, accounting, disputes, security, or backup recovery. You may request export or deletion by emailing hello@myvigil.ai; we will explain the scope, timing, and any legal or technical limits that apply.

7. Security

We use safeguards designed for the service, including encrypted transport and storage, access controls, customer-scoped credentials and data, restricted administrative access, backups, and security maintenance. No safeguard or automated system is perfect. The isolation, recovery, retention, cloud, AI-service, and support boundaries for your service are the ones stated in your written proposal; a Dedicated VM does not by itself make every provider or cloud resource dedicated.

8. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection, and to withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing. Contact us at hello@myvigil.ai to make a request. We may need to verify your identity and may be unable to fulfill a request where law, security, another person's rights, or the service's technical design requires a limitation.

9. Children and changes

myVigil is for adults and is not directed to children. We may update this policy as the service or applicable law changes. For a material change, we will give reasonable notice by email or through the agreed customer channel before it takes effect.
